BLT Hunter Pace ART BOOTH
The Bethlehem Land Trust’s 3rd Annual Hunter Pace!
Sunday November 9th 2025
Event is from 8:30 am - afternoon.
ShawnaLee will be setting up around noon. Please stop by her tent!
A tradition that has its roots in foxhunting, A Hunter pace is a timed trail ride for equestrians. Hunter paces provide horseback riders the opportunity to come together and explore new trails and paths that are maintained and prepared. Riders follow signs through woods, meadows and sometimes shallow streams. The BLT includes Bethlehem’s historic March Farms as part of their trails for this pace. This scenic pleasure pace includes March Farms and the Bethlehem Land trust in Memory of Farrier Neal John Miller. email eileenflynn789@gmail.com for more details or to register as a rider. When you come, please stop by my art booth! I’ll be taking some photos (not official photographer) and painting. Special offers and a chance to win will be at my tent. Thank you!
Portraits by ShawnaLee will be there with portfolios and examples of Horse Portraiture.

FB Live talk: Discovering a lost journal from 1849
"Gleanings Re-imagined: An Artist's Journey into a Forgotten Journal"
A short and sweet introduction as we Discover the remarkable story of Gleanings by the Way—a travel journal penned in 1849—and how it found an unexpected new home in a contemporary artist’s studio.
What began as a simple curiosity turned into a deep creative exploration when this handwritten relic, full of reflections and observations from a 19th-century traveler landed in the hands of an artist drawn to forgotten voices. Time weathered pages, softly faded ink, and poetic passages sparked a vision: what if this journal could be seen, not just read?
Now, step inside the artist's process as they prepare to interpret and illustrate Gleanings by the Way. From ideas and initial sketches to decisions about presentation and what it means to honor a historical voice through a modern artist's lens—this is more than an illustration project. It’s a dialogue across time.
Come along for the journey—where history meets imagination, and the quiet musings of the past are transformed into a vivid, visual story for the present.
